What do the stars in a wresting match represent?

Posted by admin on May 31st, 2010 and filed under wresting | 4 Comments »

For example, what does five stars mean, 4, etc.

Stars represent rating. 1 star is poor, and it progressivley gets better where 5 stars is something great. Matches are rated in stars, 5 stars being an epic match. 1 star being a poor match. Superstars are sometimes also rated with stars for their wrestling ability.

Where should I send a High School girl to go shopping for school clothes?

Posted by admin on May 31st, 2010 and filed under high school | 16 Comments »

She is a really big girl but she can wear a mix of small women clothes and big junior clothes. We used to take her to limited too, but well since she’s in high school now we should take her to high school places. We’ve recently been to JC Pennys for t-shirts, but she doesn’t like the jeans there. She likes the new style of clothes that are out the ones with the colorful designs, and she mainly likes the rinestone jeans, but I want her to get some high school clothes.

Send her to Hollister Co. or Abercrombie & Fitch. Even though she is a bigger girl she wil most likely fit into the larger sizes at these two stores. As for jeans, She might want to try Aeropostale, American Eagle, or even Hollister because each of those stores has a variety of sizes for any body type. Aeropostale has a variety rhinestone patterned jeans and in bigger sizes if she likes designs or patterns on her jeans. But these stores are not the only stores she could shop at. You shouldn’t try to send her or push her to shop at "typical high school girl" stores unless she wants to shop there. She should shop at whatever stores she likes, or wear whatever she feels comfortable and happy in. But good luck, and hope this helped!

What do you think of the Kris Aquino-Ruffa Gutierrez "catfight"?

Posted by admin on May 31st, 2010 and filed under catfight | 50 Comments »

What do you think of the Kris Aquino-Ruffa Gutierrez "catfight"? How do you feel about Annabelle Rama’s remarks on a possible Noynoy Aquino presidency? Read the article at http://bit.ly/9gnNd4

It’s true na dapat hindi na nadamay si Noynoy, pero I understand naman Annabelle’s point. Maybe she isn’t enough of a speaker to express herself properly pero it’s obvious na she’s just frustrated with the way Kris is always so mean to Ruffa.

Every episode nalang ng The Buzz kailangan niyang barahin or pahiyain as if to show na "Hey, I’m smarter than her." [Try watching the other episodes of The Buzz, and notice all her sarcastic side comments and pambabara kay Ruffa. It's all a part of the controversy din. Kasi kung 'di naman laging ganyan si Kris, hindi mapupuno si Ruffa eh. All of this is just a result of Ruffa's withstanding all of Kris's insults all along. Now that she's leaving, all Kris can do is give her a snide remark? Kahit naman 'di mo gusto 'yung tao, onting respeto lang, matagal mo na rin naman nakatrabaho, 'diba?]

Kung ako nga naiinis, pa’no pa kaya si Annabelle who is, after all, Ruffa’s mother? It was wrong of Annabelle to mention Noynoy, but Kris has been wrong all these months for being so mean to her co-host.

Someone needs to teach Annabelle Television Etiquette, what and what not to say on TV, kasi as it is, ‘di talaga siya ganun katalino. Pero si Kris din, matalino nga siya, pero ang babaw and insecure naman niya if lagi nalang niya kailangan ipamukha na she’s so much smarter than Ruffa.

How do you decide who is the greatest wrestler of all-time?

Posted by admin on May 31st, 2010 and filed under wrestler | 8 Comments »

What is it that makes your favorite wrestler of all-time the greatest of all-time? Is it talent? Is it that he is a great heel? A great talker? A great technician?

It’s a combination of all of those things. My favorite wrestler of all time is Ric Flair because I view him as the total package. He’s got great technical skills, he knows how to work the crowd, he can carry less talented people through a watchable match, he can put on a five star match, and he’s the best to ever grace the mic. He’s also not the type to go out there and go into business for himself. Flair goes out there to make every single opponent look good, and that’s something few superstars are humble enough to do.

I think the biggest and best thing Flair does though is tell a story in the ring. People overanalyze these days over who knows more holds, when it doesn’t matter. You can make a compelling bout out of chops and elbows if you play the crowd well enough, and you sell it well enough, and you’re able to pull in the crowd with emotion. Some of the most highly praised and most fondly remembered matches, the legendary ones like Warrior v. Hogan, Hogan v. Goldberg, Hogan v. Andre, or Andre v. John Studd weren’t good because these guys are skilled acrobats, or submission experts, they were so good because these are all ring generals capable of pulling an audience in with their personality, charisma, and emotion. Heck, we can go way back to Dusty Rhodes, the man was nothing but elbows and chops, but he got a whole territory to love him and believe those elbows hurt. Few people still posses that type of magic in this day and age of wrestling. It takes a lot to make fans believe, but guys like Flair, who could still put on a five star match against a broomstick in an empty arena, still have that extra spark of magic in them, that emotion that can make you forget that you’re watching a staged performance, and it draws you into believe in this epic battle before you.

And that’s what makes a good wrestler, someone who can make you believe

How come all the good wrestlers are getting suspended?

Posted by admin on May 31st, 2010 and filed under wrestlers | 11 Comments »

John Morrison, Kennedy, Orton, and Edge are all my favorite wrestlers, Now without them wrestling is boring

How can you even mention John Hennigan’s name with those good wrestlers. I mean seriously I guess it’s not his fault he got saddled with a dumb gimmick… I mean I am big fan of The Doors music, but Jim has been for 35 years. What’s next Vince a wrestler that looks and acts just like Elvis. Oh wait a minute…. did that already. Ok well knowing how topical Vince is how about a wrestler modeled after Beethoven. He’s been dead for over a hundred years so that should be right up Vince’s alley.

Will there ever be another Undertaker In Wresling I mean young undertaker his mobilitie, acting and height.?

Posted by admin on May 29th, 2010 and filed under wresling | 5 Comments »

I think wrestling will never be the same when Undertaker retires he was unlike any big man I ever seen his balance and speed he could have made a great baskeball player but he was extremely strong I really believe If Undertaker at 25 was a UFC Fighter he would dominate and would have been a true force.

There’ll never be another. He’s got the great character, size and strength…and he’s been loyal to the WWE for so many years. We can only hope there will be someone just as phenomenal.

Where can a high school student in NYC get student volunteer work in some medical facility?

Posted by admin on May 29th, 2010 and filed under high school | 2 Comments »

I am a high school and I want to study medical science. I want to get some volunteer work done while I have all this free time in high school. This will also help me with my college application.

Although I am a sophomore, I feel this is the best time to prepare since I am in a medical science based program in my school.

Please answer this question with your full effort! It will be well appreciated!

    This is a great idea.
You need to be over 16 to volunteer in a medical facility.
Check out the Hebrew Home of the Aged – I believe it’s on the west side in the 100’s. Great place. You can read to the elderly. You can help wheel people into the dining hall. Seems menial but you will get to learn about the needs, wishes, ailments, healing powers of the elderly and be able to relate it to real patients when you finally have them. There is a lot to be learned from the elders.

What’s the worst you have seen a woman get beat up in a 1 on 1 catfight?

Posted by admin on May 29th, 2010 and filed under catfight | 7 Comments »

You know, maybe where one woman got pinned down and the other woman punched her over and over and over, etc.

i saw this video online of these two girls in a fight, one girl totally beat up the other. even when the other girl pulled out a knife and slashed the first girl’s leg, the first girl STILL kicked her ass. sorry, don’t remember where i saw it, i think it might be www.skoopy.com or something like that
