don’t say he does it the most cause if you do that means you haven’t seen a Bret Hart, Kurt Angle match. I’m not comparing Orton to them but I find it stupid he’s the only wrestler critcized for it.

Sleeper holds are a great way of drawing heat as a heel too. It’s good ring psychology. Heels aren’t supposed to get over in the ring by jumping off the turnbuckles.

A lot of wrestlers have ridiculous gimmicks like being a monster or a wrestler would have a huge ego. Why can’t more wrestlers be realists and more life like. That could be entertaining.

I am 22 and an avid fan of WWE (even though i know its sports theater). I would like to become one of them. I am 5′11 and 190 pounds as in high school i was a boxer and amateur wrestler and in college i was a d3 football player and wrestler. I am already pretty strong, but h0ow would i go about getting huge muscles and really strong, How would I go about becoming diesal, becoming a good actor and eventually becoming a professional wrestler?

Example: Lots of people say Shawn Michaels carried John Cena to a good – great match when they fought. How does ‘carrying a wrestler’ to a great match actually work?

BQ – Does carrying a wrestler to a great match take more in ring psychology or more of the wrestling aspect?

I don’t believe in the carrying part. It takes two to make a good match. You can carry your partner through a match, but the match won’t be anything great – it can be semi-decent (see Ashley/Mickie from 2006). Shawn did not carry Cena, both men put hardwork into the match, John Cena hasn’t been carried for years.

To carry a wrestler, you’ve got to do all the work, whether it be selling their offense to make them look like a legitimate threat, or doing the story telling, the moves, the bumps, whilst the other just throws in their offense and leaves it at that.

BQ// Good question – it’s both. Ring psychology is where you focus on a move, (take it like this; when a wrestlers leg is the week spot, they focus on doing wrestling moves to that particular spot). To carry a wrestler, you really need everything; psychology, selling, moves, ect. But as I said, you cannot carry a wrestler to a great match, it takes two to put on a good performance, the word ‘carried’ is throw about too much these days.

My name is nate ryan and i am 18 years old. For many years i have wanted to become a pro wrestler like you see on tv, yeh the fake stuff, you know the hulk hogan, mr.T stuff. Well anyway i wanted to do this since i was like 8 and i know that i should start at some kind of small local wrestling company but how do i go big time do they requrute you like sports or do you aplly or try out.

So this is what’s up. We got a new president about to be sworn in, and I’m all wrapped up in the political spirit. So I want to know. Are there any qualities your favorite superstar or wrestler in any promotion display that would make them fitting to run the USA? Funny answers are welcomed.
