What do you think of Vince wanting his wrestlers to become better actors?

Posted by admin on July 14th, 2010 and filed under wrestlers | 3 Comments »

What do you think of this? Would this help improve the product if the wrestlers step up their promo and acting abilities? Or should Vince focus on putting out a better wrestling product? Keep in mind, WWF/WWE has never really been just about the wrestling like other promotions. It has always aimed to please the casual fan.

I fi was old school where they just came out and wrestled, that would be ok, just wrestle. But nowadays it is interview this wrestler and lets make an appearance in the ring for a 20 min speech. Somewhere there has to be MIC skills. Acting out scenes. My wife says all WWE is, is just a mans soap opera, and that means bad acting. So wrestling has evolved to the point that there has to be training(acting coaches) it’s not old school anymore. Back in the days, they just made up thing to say as the program went on.

How come wrestlers used to look so much bigger?

Posted by admin on July 11th, 2010 and filed under wrestlers | 9 Comments »

I remember watching all these old wrestling dvds around 2000-2004 the wrestlers seemed so much wider than they do on tv today. They look more lean now, Has anybody else noticed this?

Back then there wasn’t a strict Drugs policy, so most Wrestlers could get away with using performance enhancing drugs (Like Steroids). This days with the new Wellness Policy implimented, you can’t get away with using Steroids anymore. Obviously, back then they could, and they used them. Hence why guys like Triple H looked huge compared to now.

Outside of Canada and The US, What country produces the best female professional wrestlers?

Posted by admin on July 5th, 2010 and filed under wrestlers | 6 Comments »

    In my opinion, Japan.

However, although nobody talks about them much, I also think that Mexico also has some fine female wrestlers too.

I would say Japan too. Japan has always been the best place to wrestle if you want to seriously learn your craft in the ring. Because of the language barrier to the Americans it also teaches you to improvise and think on the fly in the ring when your in situations.

What meal would you cook for these wrestlers if they were your guest?

Posted by admin on July 3rd, 2010 and filed under wrestlers | 9 Comments »

Just a fun and random question which i thought would be fun.

What would you cook or order for these wrestlers if they were guest at your house?

    1) What would you cook for Ric Flair ?

2).What would you cook for Randy Orton and Legacy?

    3) What would you cook for Vince McMahon ?

4).What would you cook for John Cena ?

    5) If the entire and current ECW roster was at your home, what would cook for them?

    6) What would you cook for Jeff Hardy?

    7) What would you cook for Big Show? 8) What would you cook for the Divas if they were your guest?

Be as creative as possible and have fun!

For example, ill invite Jeff Hardy some chocolate Brownies.
If you can’t cook, then at least pretend you can cook or order something! Lighten up section and let’s have fun with this.
3rd answerer said hotdogs for divas! lol
lol these are just too funny rofl

Try getting more creative though! Rofl

    1) What would you cook for Ric Flair ? Cat food.

2).What would you cook for Randy Orton and Legacy? Dog food.

    3) What would you cook for Vince McMahon ? A nice big c0ck… I mean rooster.

4).What would you cook for John Cena ? I’d let him starve.

    5) If the entire and current ECW roster was at your home, what would cook for them? Barbed Wire to show them what "extreme" really means.

    6) What would you cook for Jeff Hardy? Rainbow flavored Ice Cream.

    7) What would you cook for Big Show? I don’t think I’d have enough food to feed him.

Women Wrestlers Banned from UK TV!

An interview with UK favourite Miss Mitzi Mueller following a ban on televising women’s wrestling imposed by one of the major UK channels in about 1985. (that’s the reason you don’t get to see any of the action in the tag match at the end!)

Is it humanly possible to utilize all wrestlers properly in a wrestling promotion?

Posted by admin on June 30th, 2010 and filed under wrestlers | 3 Comments »

Example: Singles match, none of them ends up looking weak. Both are looked equally, but the winner of the match just comes out looking ’stronger’ and etc. You know? Like what if they kept having these type of matches where it’s booked to have the wrestlers to look equal? Simple example.

Sure there’s other examples, but that’s just one way to look at it. Would that even work or no?

I don’t know if the payroll department could handle it. Years ago, I can’t remember, for the life of me, the guy’s name. He was handsome, he looked a little like Tito Santana but was a white guy. I want to say his first name was Jim, but I can’t be sure. Anyway, he had charisma, he had some moves…but he was a jobber and a jobber only. He made the other guy looked good. He probably also barely made enough to live on. I never understood why he didn’t get the push.

JIM POWERS!! (How that came to me I don’t know, lol)

Ok. But I think somebody would have to look "weaker", if only to balance out the financial end of the promotion, if it makes sense?

I mean, you’ve got Batista vs. Mysterio going on (which I just don’t understand) and they’ve volleyed back and forth between who wins and who loses, and they’re both bringing in hefty paychecks. However, that feud can’t last forever (nor can Mysterio’s knees) and in due time, you’ll have Batista crushing some people until they find him another feud.

When a match looks like it’s about 50/50 instead of 80/20 or worse 90/10 of who’s going to win, both look good. Even a 60/40 can look good. The other night when Chris Masters had Randy Orton in the Masterlock, Orton made it look good, but Chris "let him escape, which no one ever does!"…so they both sold to each other.

But while Masters got himself a spot in the Royal Rumble, I don’t know if he’s got the draw power. Does this make sense? I’m guessing you’re always going to have jobbers, stars, and the mid-guys inbetween. It’s how they’re mixed up and matched together to make it work.
